I initially created these oven-baked meatballs to go into my Unstuffed Halupki recipe, but they’re too good not to share as a standalone dish. The recipe features cooked rice for a tender texture, creating a moist and satisfying meatball, but you can easily leave it out for other dishes.

These meatballs (without the rice) are great simmered in a classic spaghetti sauce, nestled amongst pasta and sauce, or featured in a comforting meatball sub. Their versatility extends to dishes like meatball stroganoff, where their robust flavor shines.

The real magic comes from the Worcestershire sauce, adding a tangy, savory note that elevates the overall taste; seasoned breadcrumbs, ensuring a light and airy texture rather than a dense one; and the flavorful blend of ground beef and pork, striking the perfect balance of richness and depth. I hope you enjoy this savory meatball recipe!
